Carbon tax rebate coming to Yukon municipalities, says premierLast
week, Premier Sandy Silver sent letters to the mayors informing them
municipalities will receive a 100 per cent rebate. Up until then, the
territorial government had only committed to returning money collected
by the federal carbon tax to Yukoners and Yukon businesses.

Silver said First Nations governments can also expect carbon tax
revenue to be returned to them.

The federal carbon tax is expected to come into effect on January 1,
2019. At that time, carbon will be taxed at $20 per tonne and by 2022,
at $50 per tonne.

The rent-seeking carbon tax pigs can't wait to get their snouts in the
trough.

Well, not the rich. The 1% LOVE regressive
taxes like a carbon tax. See, an income
tax is fair. It's the fairest tax on the
planet, and the only tax which is means
tested.

...if you don't earn it, you don't
pay it.

This is why the rich HATE income taxes: They
earn it, so any sensible means tested tax has
to hit them the hardest.

Enter the carbon tax!

With all that revenue coming in from the carbon
tax, you don't need income taxes. Well, you
certainly don't need anywhere near as much as
you would.

WALL STREET TYPES LOVE THIS!

And don't forget carbon trading! With the
trading schemes the rich can make money
off of carbon markets, and pass the costs
(or even any losses) on to the little guy
in the form of higher prices!

Combined, the poor & working classes won't
stand a chance!

...all this, just so China can have more
oil to burn.
