"Arctic winter warming events – winter days where temperatures peak above 14 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 10 degrees Celsius) – are a normal part of the climate over the ice-covered Arctic Ocean. But new research by an international team that includes NASA scientists finds these events are becoming more frequent and lasting longer than they did three decades ago. ..."

Is sea level rising because the ice cap is melting when the *peak*
temperature gets to minus 10 degrees Celsius -- in *winter*, when
there is *no* sunshine all day?

Kymmie usually doesn't reply to my posts.

Did someone's method of posting fractional values without using
decimal points distract you from noticing the minus signs in front of
all but five of the temperatures in your list above ... for a location
at 68N latitude? IOW: 80.0000...% of the readings in your list are
negative Celcius temperatures.

A clue for slow greenies: Ice doesn't melt at negative Celcius
temperatures when there is no sunshine.

I fail to comprehend how this is a bad thing. Have you ever had to walk
from the Iqaluktuuttiaq Public Works office to your Arctic Islands room
when it's -40C with a stiff breeze? Yer eyelids and nostrils freeze shut
the moment yer step outside. -10C is like shorts and tee-shirt weather.
