Interestingly, the Netherlands needs a supply of freshwater
to keep the dykes moist so they can keep the ocean back.
While there's plenty of freshwater in the nation's major
reservoirs, there will be a problem if there's no rain
for the next 4 wks.

The drought across northern Europe has Dutch officials worried about
something perhaps unexpected: flooding.

If the sun keeps shining in the Netherlands, it'll further test the

It's experiencing its driest summer ever, which is causing problems
for a country with a delicate balancing act when it comes to water.

Because the ocean water won't keep them moist?

The ocean water is too dry?

Do you have any idea what osmosis is?
