Climate change exposed 2 bn to more than 30 days of "risky heat"
between June and August, India tops the list in South Asia.
In the country where I live, this summer was not globally the warmest on
record. There were one or two warm episodes, but it is by no mean
unusual in summer.
In the place where I was, there was occasionally high temperatures
alerts. I checked the GFS model forecasts each time : they were
unwarranted. Either the high temperature threshold or the night time
temperature threshold or the required duration not met.
