No real truth there either.

On the site, launched by Make America Great Again Inc., users can select
items from a list of household staples to compile a hypothetical grocery
list. A calculator then compares prices for these items between the
beginning of Biden’s presidency and now.
Checking off each item on the list shows an “under Trump” cost of
$107.81 and an “under Biden” cost of $168.16. It amounts to a 55.98%
increase.
Putting food on the table has become harder than ever thanks to
‘Bidenomics,’” the site reads. “As costs for everyday items continues to
rise, American families are struggling more and more to foot the bill.
The items listed include meat, fruit, and dairy products. Also included
is a 64 oz container of ice cream, a jab at Biden’s love of the dessert.
Data used for the site comes from the United States Department of
Agriculture and compares prices from January 2021 when Biden first took
office and compares it to prices from January 2024.
A new report from the Federal Trade Commission found that some grocers
could be using inflation to up profit margins. Prices since 2021 have
risen about 9.1% at major outlets like Walmart and Kroger, despite the
consumer price index last month sitting at 3.2%.
In February, Kellogg's CEO Gary Pilnick suggested Americans struggling
to put food on the table should eat cereal for dinner.
“In general, the cereal category is a place that a lot of folks might
come to because the price of a bowl of cereal with milk and with fruit
is less than a dollar so you can imagine why our consumer under pressure
might find that to be a good place to go," Pilnick said.
