California attorney general sues Exxon Mobil over plastics recycling deceptions
POLITICO, 23 Sep 2024 15:47Z
Recycling *Is* a deception!

We ordinary people don't get to choose packaging. If we want
the product, we get the packaging. Yet it's our fault, all
this packaging... it's all our fault, and it's our
responsibility to see that it isn't wasted. But if we accept
that the packagers are to blame for their packaging,
everything is different. They REDUCE waste, REDUCE packaging.

Virtually EVERYTHING that comes in a plastic container used
to come in glass. Everything. Even things that are stupid to
put into glass, like shampoo.

We could mandate glass. Like, mandate the color. Just mandate
clear glass. Let them paint it anyway they want, so long as
that paint burns away when the glass is melted down.

Our LeftTarded government is so eager to throw blame on the
people with the least money, the least power and least
responsibility for anything!

Big Oil lobbyists swarm UN talks on global plastic pollution treaty
The "Plastics Pollution," ironically enough, stems from the
insane "Recycling" laws. All that plastic isn't actually
recycled. Most is shipped to some developing world nation,
and they just dump it into the ocean. Or burn it.

Plastic burns very well, though it tends to give off toxins...

The answer, of course, is blame the packagers for their
packaging.
