I.e. 2024 is now 5.6 more than recent normals for the same months.
When I last checked the numbers about 1m ago 2024 was at or below normal levels.

Sulawesi is the oldest known in the world, according to a study that
now dates the enigmatic paintings to 51,200 years ago.
The findings push back the timescales on human activity on Sulawesi,
raising new questions about the origins of the island's ancient art
and its relationship to early human migrations.
[With paintings dated with a new laser ablation method possibly
pre-dating (according to some est) the time when modern humans moved
out of Africa into the rest of the world hints that some of the
earliest representational art may have been created by
now-presumed-extinct "relatives"].
