[Funny. Last month my gas company sent me 2 bills: one saying I owed
$80 and the other saying I owed nothing and was $175 in credit due to
over-billing. After a year of just saying they tried to read my gas
meter but a "gate was locked" or they had seen "a ferocious dog"
someone came out to read the meter -- and I found them in the back
yard -- and discovered my meter was 100 m3 less than company records
claimed it was. This month I've received a bill for $155 again.
By the meter I've used less than $20 in gas in the intervening time
and the connection charge is around $30 per month. Yea yea yea. New leaf].
